Harry Reid's Hypocrisy

Harry Reid recently noted how President Bush was not following "the will of the people" (Breibart.com, Jan 5th, 2007) by staying in Iraq.  Yet this week Harry Reid himself was not following the will of the people when it came to support for the Immigration Bill.  Only 22% of Americans support (Rasmussen Reports) the Immigration bill, this represents fewer numbers than the number of Americans who support the Iraq war (27% percent, Rasmussen Reports).  Mr Reid on the other hand continued to support the Immigration bill anyway.  Recently, Mr. Reid spoke on the floor of the Senate about receiving a call from a young man named "Tommy".  He explained how Tommy should support the Immigration Bill and why.

Mr. Reid, if President Bush is wrong for not following the will of the people by getting out of Iraq, then sir you should have not supported the Immigration Bill.

The American Heritage Dictionary defines hypocrisy as "The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness."  Mr Reid, this makes you a hypocrite sir... pull your head out of the sand.
