I have been a Republican all my life and have lived in the State of Arizona for the last 21 years.  During that time, I have been embarrassed by the actions of our State Senator John McCain.  For years I have been looking for an opportunity to join a recall effort to have him removed.  No such luck.  After recent events that have demonstrated his penchant for making himself look good on TV while ignoring his constituency and the Republican base at large, I have decided to start a “Anyone But McCain” campaign.  The purpose of this campaign is to bring to light events that demonstrate his lack of leadership AND to gain support from others for this campaign.

Hugh Hewitt commented on May 24th that McCain likes the idea of taking political changes to look like a leader, however, he actions demonstrate that he hasn't a clue as a standard bearer of conservatism.
